How it works

Diagram of the printer's build space: 220 millimeters wide, 220 deep and 250 tall.

What I print

If it fits the printer and it's legal, send it over. Common requests include:

  • Replacement parts, clips and knobs
  • Brackets, mounts and holders
  • Boxes, enclosures and organizers
  • Prototypes and test fits
  • Display pieces, props and models
  • One-off gifts and small batches

I don't print weapons or weapon parts of any kind, safety-critical parts, or anything illegal. See the terms.

The printer

Everything is printed on a Creality K1C, a fast, enclosed FDM (filament) printer with a hardened nozzle that can handle carbon-fiber filament.

Largest part
220 × 220 × 250 mm
(about 8.6 × 8.6 × 9.8 in)
Colors
One color per part. A color change between layers is sometimes possible; ask in the notes.
Bigger parts
Some can be split into pieces and joined. If not, I'll tell you.

Materials

  • PLA

Crisp detail and lots of colors. Great for display pieces, prototypes and indoor parts. Softens in high heat, like a hot car.

  • PETG

Tougher than PLA, with a little flex and better heat and outdoor resistance. A good pick for functional parts.

  • PA6-CF

Carbon-fiber-filled nylon. Stiff, strong and heat-resistant, for demanding functional parts.

  • Something else?

Choose "Other" on the form and tell me what you need. I'll say whether I can do it.
